Very nice one with it showing the crust of the shell. Pretty neat find I think.

Here's a bunch of buttons I bought about 2 years ago. These were all found on a site that was an old slave colony and are probably dated from around the mid 1800's. All of the white ones are shell and most of it is abalone shell. There a few glass ones and even a couple of wooden ones.

Those are nice, I have a few others but none as nice as those.
