I went through my buttons today and tracked my totals of each type. I am just wondering what type you seem to find the most, for me it is definitely non-backmarked brass, copper, or tombac buttons. I am surprised that I haven't found as many two piece or backmarked buttons. Anyways, out of a total of 121 buttons, here are my totals. Also, I have a couple questions on the dates of each, I estimated the date range of each type, please correct anything I am wrong about if you can.

Four buttons are not included in the photograph, including a blowhole button (that broke in storage, carefully packed in a plastic bag with the pieces of the front), also not included are a tombac button, backmarked button, and two piece button.

Two or Four Holes: 4 (1700's-1900's, One crude pewter four hole looks to maybe be colonial)

Brass/Copper With Backmarks: 15 (1790's-1830's)

Cufflinks: 4, 1 silver and one complete (Round/Octagonal are older, 1750's-1780's, Oval, 1780's-1800)

Pewter: 3 (1750's-1780's)

Small-Medium Sized Brass/Copper (No Backmarks): 33 (1760's-1800)

Large Dandy Buttons (No Backmarks): 18 (1760's-1800)

Blowhole Buttons: 2 (1690's-1730's)

Two Piece Buttons: 14 (1840's-1900's)

Tombac Buttons: 28 (1750's-1800)

Confirmed Military Buttons: 0
