Nice looking button Allen. I am guessing it's a 20th century Marine button. That backmark is not in McGuinn & Bazelon's military backmark book.

That is wht I kept finding to, but my friend Tom
somehow came up with a 1934 date for the
backmark, dont know how or where.

Looks to be a WW1 Marines Button. It is the earlier style, and was also present during the Civil War, but your definitely has the WW1 Swag to it.


Here's a few I dug last year.
