Just guessing it would be military. Hard to see the button in your pics. Try to find a copy of Alberts button book. It will probably be in there if its military.

thanks nhbenz. There really was no reason I should find a military button where I found this( old public pool from the 50’s) but, as you know, we find a lot of weird stuff in our hobby
