Well been sick as a dog. Think it is Distemper. Ha ha....Did get out for about 45 minutes and got a very small broken pewter spoon, thimble and some flat buttons at home site I found Thursday eve.

I have been accused of having distemper a few times, usually when I don't get to go detecting as often as I would like.:laughing7: Those are some pretty good finds for only 45 minutes of hunting. I always like seeing thimbles. Hopefully a few coins will turn up next time.

Sent Erik in NJ a PM teasing him about trading the thimble for the ole junky one he found in the UK. His is incredible.

I am sure some Pioneer TN woman was plowing, nursing a child, and sewing at the same time when she lost it. TN women can multitask with the best of em.:laughing7:

Spoon has me puzzled.....very small. Wonder if it was for child, sugar, or just a spoon.:icon_scratch:

Nice 45 minute hunt. Like the buttons. They are in good shape. This weather is just about right . I may go swing a little bit tomorrow.
