war of 1812 script I infantry button. They were in a fresh tilled field 4 to 8 inchs , not deep at all.

Awesome, Calabash. You probably just found more buttons than I'll find the next three days scouring a Culpeper winter encampment. (But I hope not, lol!) I'm probably not going to find any 1812 stuff where I'm going unless some old 1812 vet in the CW dropped it. But that's like a WWI soldier fighting in Vietnam. Unlikely. Or the son/grandson of a an 1812 vet carrying something as a keepsake into CW battle. Also unlikely, but not unheard of. Congrats on those great buttons. Presume it was the HF coil sucking mid-conductors out of the ground as it should?

hf coil, video is coming having a battle will my 300.00 software that wont work but got it fixed today.

I know, I watch a Calabash video and he makes detecting sound so exciting I get worked up and feel compelled to go hunt. lol
