Just wanted to share a photo of a small selection of buttons (some military / uniform), small pendants and religious medallions, etc.... All found by me with the metal detector or while detecting over the past couple of years. Enjoy.​

Very impressive group, sir. Just a dumb question, from left field, but why do you make them live in those little plastic igloos?

Just an easy way to display them. Also protects them. Got the ideal from a gem and stone shop..... They are called gem jars.

I have a large button collection and would like to know about #10. Were the holes just for thread or
decoration?

I believe they were for decoration. The button has a loop back. I believe it to be Victorian Era, but not sure. Here is a photo of the button for your viewing.
