I recently found a cache of trade coins while cleaning out a home. They were stashed in the rafters in an old bank bag. I believe they are rare as I haven't found squat about them after researching for days. Any thoughts?

Are those the only ones you found, or are there more?

There's about 40-60 in the bag. I haven't counted yet. When I go home for lunch, I will.

Ok, just went through and counted, there's 187 25c and 50c. The weird part is mixed in the bag are small chunks if concrete o_O. Odd. I am interested in selling these, but also I'm not in a rush. If someone wanted to help point me in the right direction... This could be a good payday for both of us.

Dang dude, 187 is a big number. I would help out if I could, but judging by the bag it looks like I'm on the other side I the country from ya. E-bay could work for ya, or if you have any coin shows in your area those would probably work for you as well. Congrats though, an HH!

I'm thinking it may be a good idea to sell the whole lot of them. Don't want to flood the market and have value drop. I found one mistake token out of the lot. It's a 50c stamping on a 25c blank. Neat stuff!

These are listed in Chadwick's OK book as $75 for the 25¢ one, but the 50¢ one is not listed. There are also 5¢, 10¢, and $1 shown. If I were you, I'd eBay them one at a time with a few weeks in between. Don't start the bidding at too high of a price - say no higher than $19.95 - and let the market find their value. Assuming the book value is still as good as a token rarity ever is, the market will become saturated after a while. I imagine there are only a few real serious OK collectors out there - they will get the first few and the price will be high because the serious guys will bid them up. After the first ones sell, then the "bottom feeders" will start bidding, but the selling price will start going down.
