These people who say they are to difficult to learn and to heavy crack me up. I have had a garrets bottom line detector, whites IDX and a Whites MXT before my explorer II. They were all turn on and go machines but come on. You cant read the manual and "experiment" with some air testing to learn the machine? The Explorer comes with a great video to show you how to set it up and use it. I bet these people who are complaining about being to complicated still have their VCR blinking "1200" because they cant figure out out to set it. Not to mention owning a new fangled DVD player....haha The weight is not any heavier to me than the other 3 i have had. I think some people like to discredit things that they don't have to make themselves "feel" better. To heavy?? wwhhhaaaaaaa
I have had mine about a week and absolutely LOVE it. ALOT better than any detector i have owned. Its SOOOOO much more stable than the MXT, which I liked alot too. When you hit a coin there is no doubt you got a good target.
