After I got my schedule at work, I had some time to kill, so I called some nearby banks to see if they had any halves. One bank had $98.50 in halves and i have yet to look through those, but the second bank I went to had $50 in halves. I have only been to this bank once and that one time, each roll had $2.50 extra in each roll. Well I picked up their 5 rolls and headed on home. I just opened them now to see if there was anything good and what do you know. Five solid rolls of 40%s!!! My heart is racing right now. I'll post tomorrow what all of the dates are once I've sorted them. But for now, I can't believe I just got 100 40%s!!!

This is definitely a stunning find for me. Beforehand, my entire CRH silver collection consisted of a little over 3 ounces. Just this find is almost 15 ounces! Definitely a great way to pick up my day since I had toe surgery in the morning.

Hey that's sweet. Congrats on the silver rolls. Me and my kids just picked up 80 bucks worth of halves for the first time today from two banks. After they sorted them we ended up with a 1964 and a 2008. Nothing much to note otherwise but here's hoping we hit a silver streak like you.

Nice solid roll score!! Nothing quite like it. This hobby is all about the thrill of the hunt I think!

Best wishes for your surgery.

Well I sorted all of them this morning and here are the results:
1966 - 12
1967 - 68
1968 - 9
1969 - 11

And by the way, the other $98.50 were skunks. When I called the bank, they said they were already looked through but I bought them anyway.
