There are no marks on the reverse side. And I'm sorry, I was unaware that it was lead, therefore I had no idea which forum would be appropriate for me to post on.

Looks similar to oriental spoons i've seen in Japanese, Thai and Chinese restaurants.

Maybe someones idea of a 'Shrimp Boat'...

That's alright when I first saw it without enlarging the pic I thought it might be a fossilized mussel shell that's why I asked if it had any markings on the back.
