It was cold and windy but the sun was shining, the ground is still fozen like concrete so Rick and I head off to the beach and meet up with Aqua and cousin Ed for a little mud larking. 3rd good target of the day turned out to be a nice 3 inch cannon ball, I dug up some musket balls, sheathing nails from the days of wooden ships and iron men and a few other do-dads. Rick got up some silver and Ed might have a silver spoon but we are not sure on that just yet. (Should have gotten a group shot with all the finds)
Hoping to get diving for bottles tomorrow, fingers are crossed.

Thanks Bill, we will be taking it easy tomorrow none of us have been able to get in the water this year due to weather. We have to shake out the cob webs out of the regulaters, I hate choking on those.LOL
Will post up our finds tomorrow.

Great hunt. Lots of history with your finds. Nice solid shot. Would love to hunt an area like that. You could not drag me away. Be safe and be sure to post up the period glass.

That's awesome Dave!

Thanks for dropping off my iron yesterday...I wish I could have been home to meet with you guys. The bally that survived came out awesome! The 36 pounder is the pride of my collection! You mentioned that the Broadarrow was no longer visible on the 4 pounder but after a quick inspection I was able to find it. It's pretty shallow but is just as visible now as it was before the electrolysis. I'll get some pick up later!
