I shot a roll of film on Sunday at my new place, then got the negatives all messed up. I decided to shoot another roll yesterday and wasn't disappointed. The photos are a little grainy because my chemicals are starting to get old and I had slightly sharpened them in Photoscape (a good free photo program). I am also still trying to get the hang of the light meter on it. Anyways, here are the photos I took yesterday.

A tiny little hand carved wooden dog that I found on one of the old beams.

The original scans were much too large to upload here, so I made them 90% smaller.

A very fun and easy to use camera. I bought mine in the early 80s then sent it in to Canon Japan to have it rebuilt in the late 90s. Its a workhorse and takes awesome shots. its a shame film is a relic of our past.

Alright! Old school photography. Down at Mike's Camera in Boulder, Colorado they tell me film photography has come back big time for them . I got this old TRL I want to dink around with someday and I keep looking at the Large format cameras on ebay thinking maybe I'll get one of those someday if I find one with a good price??

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Canon AE-1. Unfortunately, when I was out shooting one day it locked up and hasn't worked since. :(

It's awesome to see other members of this forum use old school cameras... !

I got mine for $5, locked out. I opened the bottom and cleaned the level thingy and electromagnet, and sure enough it worked! I bought more chemicals today, including developer and stop bath. I hope to take some more today maybe.

What film and developer are you using?
My favorite combo was Tri-X souped in FD-22 (an MQ developer formula, similar to D-76) which I mixed from bulk chemicals. Still have a couple pounds each of the Metol and Hydro. Should probably go get some more Tri-X to play with..
Here's a shot I did a few years ago with that film/developer:

Beautiful photograph, and one cool car! I am just using the sprint developer, fixer, and stop at the moment, with Ilford HP5 Plus film. I hope to sometime experiment with different film chemicals to attempt to see what gives the best result.
