In replying to Ron Lord's post, I wanted to add a photo ,.but I just got an "X" in a box...the photo is in JPG format...can't figure out the problem..anyone else having this problem?

No, I didn't find it (wish I did though, lol). I was doing some research in another window while I was replying to this thread. It was a copy & paste to show that some of us can post photos and others can't. The medal is Russian, known as the Order of St. Stanislaus, second class neck badge. They sell for a few thousand dollars usually. That particular medal though because of it's provenance sold for £37,600- SAS hero defeats Russian dentist in rare medals auction at Bonhams

I have only posted two photos. When I did it a couple of months back it worked just fine, when I did it yesterday or the day before it did not work using the same method of clicking on the "image" icon, selecting "computer" and uploading directly from my Iphoto library. All that came out is lettering with the photo number from my library on the failed attempt.
