Cash Register find

I'm working at my part-time job today at a Chemical plant on site Fire-Department. Went to the cafeteria to get lunch and when I payed I saw wheat backs in the penny tray in the cash register. I said to the Clerk, can I buy that Wheat back from you? and she picked it out, got another penny out of a cup on top of the register and put it in the drawer. I got it for free and it is a 1947 S. Always pays to be on the lookout even when you can't MD!!!
