I wouldn't think so. They'd be worth more then a buck or couple in weight alone. Folks would have flocked to the casinos just to trade in their worthless dollars.

I have never seen a casino coin made of silver. Still a good find and probably still usable. One time, I was on a Caribbean Island resort with a casino and the sand outside the entrance to the beach was loaded with them. However, as fast as I was finding, my wife was taking, putting back into the machines and losing. Oh well, we both had our fun...

Those casino tokens aren't silver, they would be marked/stamped if they were. Here's a few I found last year at an estate sale, the bi metal ones contain .6 ounces of .999 each-
