Jeff,

I work for T-Mobile (Cellular company) in Indiana and I have detected many cell sites. I use a White's M6 and have never had any troubles. I don't know what Freq's the companies are using in that area but it shouldn't cause a problem. Most antenna's have a broadcast pattern that shoot over the top of the 100 ft area that you are describing. If there are any low hanging repeater antenna's or microwave dish's you might get some problems but I doubt it.

Good luck on the hunt

The only place I had a problem was near a huge Micro Wave radio dish! Really played havok
with my MXT. My Ace 250 didn't seem to have a problem with it. Strange!!!!!!

It really depends on the type of detector you use. I have a Minelab Explorer II and a Teknetics T2. The T2 seems much more sensitive to electrical noise sources. If you have the ability to change frequencies or sensitivity this is a big plus for detecting this type of area.

Give it a shot, it may work just fine?
