I was looking for paleo & archaic implements on a bluff over looking the Mississippi river, which is approximately 100 ft below. My theory was that a couple thousand years ago, the water level was where I was looking, but not sure how credible my theory is...lol. Anyways, I picked up this piece, thinking maybe it was a celt of some kind, put it in my pocket, and then threw it away later thinking it was wishful thinking...which I know happens to newbies alot. That night thinking about it, I was haunted, so the next day, I hiked back up the bluff and grabbed it, and put it in the maybe pile.....would appreciate your insight...lol...don't be afraid to be brutally honest!
