Central NY Lost Treasures and Tales, Please Share

Anything in the Central NY area...I see a lot down state...besides a few ghost town in the Central NY area, I am not 100 percent sure of any lost or hidden treasures...besides the Loomis gang...

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Castle Creek, NY just north of Binghamton. The indians supposedly came back to their ancestral home every year and took 1 white man up in the hills to check on a treasure.

Speaking of the Loomis gang, have any substantial "treasures" ever been found?
I grew fascinated with their history as a young kid when my grandfather brought home a book on them from a camping trip he went on up in Hubbardsville. I believe it was titled The Rise And Fall Of The Loomis Gang.
