Well busted 101 coins yesterday and a few other items. Sorry for the late post. This all came from one play area with the exception of four coins. This is the only play ground I have ever seen that used river rocks instead of wood chips or sand. Ouch! All current coins. 47 Lincolns,22 dimes,11 nickels,19 quarters and 2 game tokens. $ 7.97 Total and a blister as an added bonus... Found a few other items as well, HH Art...

My gradeschools all had small gravel. It was great for looking for little fossils. There's a couple playgrounds around here that use that shredded tire stuff--I read an article on the guy who invented it. He added something to the tire rubber, and uses recycled tires as the material...and became like a millionaire overnight!

Good clad...money isn't everything, but it's pretty darn cool! :)

That's a good pile of clad for one person/one day. Amazing how it adds up. Also looks like a decent ring and earing. Not bad.
Stones - easier to find the items, harder to dig.

Keep the post coming. Snowed in here in Cleveland. :'(

Another mood ring!? Seems like anyone that has ever hunted a playground has found one.? Do you think there's a conspiracy among the kids to throw them all away at once? ;)? Monty
