Charter Members rights?

It says "We reserve the right to ban any Charter Member and/or delete any Charter Member, including all posts at any time for any reason-no refunds.

Why doesn't a person have a right to know why their $20 was, in effect, stolen?

I notice charter members are advertising detectors, which nobody else can do anymore. When I look at the rules for charter members, it doesn't say anything about a right or privilege to sell detectors. So are there now no rights or privileges for Charter Members, & the right or privilege to sell or trade detectors is just grandfathered in for older Charter Members???

I'm sure if any Charter Member gets his Membership revoked he will know why :laughing7:

It simply means being a Charter member is not a Free pass (or even a $20. pass)
to be a pain. the rules still apply.
and crying over $20.00 isn't going to get you pitty.

Concrete, WA
Detector(s) used
Nokta FoRs Gold, a Gold Cube, 2 Keene Sluices and Lord only knows how many pans....not to mention a load of other gear my wife still doesn't know about!
Primary Interest:
Prospecting
George: If anyone buys a ticket for a baseball game and then acts inappropriate they
are going to be asked to leave (or be escorted out). Same goes for a cover-charge at
a bar or concert...get asked to leave and odds are high you won't be getting your
money back.

IMO, a Charter Membership is a commitment to the site, not only to help
defray costs, but also a commitment to working with others to make the
site an even better place.

Jeff, why would anyone give $20, for no reason other than help pay for the site, then do something supposedly so bad that they deserve removal for life? Is the problem political statements? Bullying members? Going off topic? Offensive jokes? What is so bad that it can't be forgiven?? Please help me understand. I think I am leaving this site forever. Despite my being called hero member for over 500 posts helping thousands, I still feel like an outsider, a trespasser here. We can't even find out who owns this site, so it is hard to complain about anything to the person(s) that could change anything.

I can't seem to find the original posts by the new owners Forum Foundry. Did they sell the forum to Treasure Hunter? He/she seems to be the only one to be posting forum rules, & the only one to post about 15 lines of politics that we can't post about. I know we aren't allowed any info, just like govt secrets. Sorry I offended you. You seemed to be fair.

I'm not offended George,
you should see by my response above I try to keep a sense of humor.
(if my little Bug Joke above offends you let me know).

I'm Just confused .
Forum Foundry is correct JohnDroid is one of our Administrators, smalltowngirl13
is usually here.
if you go to Help , new member Introduction, treasureNet FAQ there are posts by our newest Admins.

I'm not sure where the original posts by the
new owners is But it should be here somewhere I'll keep looking.

Just an FYI All our members are important to us George, not just the Charter members.

Yes, Jeff, just wanted to confirm there wasn't another owner change as this site is too big to read everything. Thanks & best wishes, George (MN)
