my son and his beloved Field Spaniel who absolutely loved the river. This park is the most popular park in the county because it is the only public county park on the Chattahoochee river. It is not big, lest than 15 acres and gets slammed on the weekend. Covered in pulltabs, foil and bottle caps and some modern clad. It is my test park to learn a new detector. When I first took my Nox 800 here it exploded in sounds the park was so trashy. Most detectorists hit this park one time and never come back. It is 2 miles from my home, so a good place to practice. Hunted in the water one time, mostly dimes, memorials and quarters. no silver.
