I have $50 of copper pennies in my closet, but I would like to have something I could sell anytime for melt.

yea i bought a 1 pound bar of copper along with 10 oz of silver from provident. that 1lb bar of copper ended up costing like 6 bucks...LOL. stiil cool though.

I save scrap metal all the time. I would NEVER buy it silver is the hot thing right now. Get all you can and hold on.

At a scrapyard you can buy copper "bar stock" pieces, usualy from bus bar for spot. This is nearly .999 copper in nice smooth flat bars like those kilo bars, either in sqaure or rect shapes.
