Looks like a salvaged or rechipped point. Did it have a stem at one time? I'm very familiar with Ark. points and don't recall seeing one quite like that before.

I only know what the guy told me...nothing else.

Ty, the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw it was that it looks like it either had a stem at one time and was reworked, or it's the tip off a point that has been reworked. I would give it a good hard looksie - just my opinion. It doesn't fit the bill for any normal form that occurs there and the basal edge looks funky. Notice the steep edge retouch at the base? There's no basal thinning that I can see. I hope the retouch is ancient or that I'm wrong altogether.
