Wow! That's a real mindblower for me. I mean it's a nice point but that inclusion seems so symmetrical that it just has to be some creature that was trapped in that stone before it formed into it's hardened state. At least that is how it appears to me anyways. What kind of stone is that, jasper? Maybe somebody on the fossil board would have some input for identification. Nice find!!
There is NOTHING organic about the dendrite in the agate. Please google "dendritic agate" and you will see there are many dendrites that form in what look like organic patterns but they are just mineral formations. I work with a lot of dendritic agates in my lapidary shop, I love the patterns one can find. Try googling "Montana agate" and you should see some with dendrites similar to the one in the point.
