checking /pecking it out

Here is a picture .of what I think is a Downy Woodpecker on a Silver Maple tree checking out my trail camera that is less than 2 feet away.He is either trying to find his next meal or wondering what that strange bird on that other tree is

Not sure what species WP it be. The downey is about the only one I see around where I live and they're pretty small.
