Chess in a bottle: cut bottle art

Too rainy today to go metal detecting in southeast Louisiana. Decided to do some bottle cutting. Started doing this with the intention of repurposing broken antique bottles that I would find. Cut this from a balsamic vinegar bottle that I was done with. Btw I’m also a chess nut!

Nice hobby! My brother taught me chess when I was 7/8 years old. Learned chess before checkers. I’m 75 years old now and have taught my three sons and six grandchildren chess. A great game!

Agreed! Bet you have learned some good tactics along the way
Honestly, without getting into the details, chess was life changing for me. I struggled in elementary school academically, but chess allowed me to level the playing field. I hope that makes sense.
