First line of last paragraph says it doesn't turn copper into gold but their experiments got it to behave like gold, good for industrial purposes.

Gold is in every computer chip. If they found a way to make copper act like gold and keep the price below gold, that could affect the price of anything with a computer chip in it

Yeah I know I hope it doesn’t effect gold prices.

Why would China want cheap gold?

Oh, right. They don't have sound currency 'cause their economy is tanking. :laughing7:

Sounds like all they discovered is improved conductivity in copper "under certain conditions". Yeah, o.k.. But it will never replace gold. Silver can't even replace gold for two reasons. One, silver, and copper, are easily corroded. Gold don't tarnish. Two, though gold is not as good of a conductor as silver, gold can be rolled or plated much thiner and to the point wher it is actually cheaper to use gold because so much less is needed.

It's probably a lie anyways. "Under certain conditions"? Conditions like what? Antarctica?

Don't believe it. They tried to turn industrial waste into dog food and that didn't work. They just can't see well enough to do anything right. Have you ever got stuck behind one in traffic? Can't see.

Yes indeed. It should be those white styrofoam shipping peanuts.

Styrofoam is too eviromentaly unfriendly. The chink in the chinamen's armor is their eviroment. It is already terribly polluted and it would be unfair to wreck their peaceful smog covered country any more.

Besides, sawdust is much cheaper than styro-foam.
