Bet today was a real work out working the frozen ground. Paid off nicely with some great finds. That merc is a definite sweet one but, that old tag is not far behind.

Thank you!, I gave the tag to my buddy along with a few others ive found over the years, he collects them
thanks!, I gave him 2 1908 dog tax tags as well, theh were sitting in bags in boxes in my closet lolYeah, he's got some nice ones from Scanton. I was born in Scranton.
Nice friend you are....
nah I used my t handle shovel and literally jumped on it to penetrate the ground lolHammer and wood chisel?? I'm curious because I've been at a standstill because of the frozen ground............
That's an amazing feat (to me) to pull keepers in this climate............the button is cool, too.

thanks steve, was nice just to get out, nothing earth shattering but funGlad to see you got out Chris. I'm surprised the ground is still frozen anywhere in PA!
Hopefully it'll last! Cheers
just a little baking soda paste. Actually I just wet the coin and rubbed dry baking soda on it. I don't recommend this on coins of value howeverCare to share what you did to clean it up? Looks good.
