Hi!
I have a problem.
I have an Eagle II, and I love my machine. But recently it is faulting, chirping constantly. I don't know what to do. I was outside, no EMI.
I've changed the batteries, but that doesn't help.
I live in Japan, so it wouldn't be easy to send in for repair.
I was just wondering what you might do in my situation.

if you have a Coil Cover on,, Take it off Check for Dirt, Clean it.

Disconnect the coil wire from the detector.
Look at the connector Pins. Make sure all are there and solid.

unWrap and

ReWrap the Coil wire around the Stem Snugly enough that it doesn't wiggle.

Take it outside and Try it.

With my Minelabs Sometimes all I can blame is Aliens,
Or underground Morlocks .
was a Broken pin the coil Wire connected to on my Sovereign once

Good Luck !

Try another coil if you have one or can borrow one for test purposes. Ones from a 5900, 6000, Eagle, Spectrum, XLT, and several other older model White's will work.
