I hit a local elementary school where weekend soccer games are held. Along the sidelines I found a pretty good sized silver ring that was about three inches down. It's marked .925 and weighs an even 10 grams. I'm not sure what the stone is. Perhaps a type of glass of some sort since it looks a bit scratched and chipped. It's one of my largest silver rings though so I was happy to find it.

Nice one! Looks like there could be something set in glass or some kind of resin.. Just looking at the blue discolouration??

Nice find. If it weren't silver I would say it looked a lot like a mood ring.

Very nice ! Could you give us a clearer pic or two of the stone ?

Ok, here is a better picture. I put a little water on it just before taking the picture to help bring out the color. After looking at it closer, I am fairly certain that it is glass that is on top of some sort of colored inlay.

It might well be "dichroic glass" which is all the rage in affordable jewelry today ( a poor mans opal ) very nice find ! thanks for the pics ,
I'm guessing the ring is made in Mexico - relatively modern (10 years old or less )
