Some of the smaller sample in the first and second image appear to be moonstone..(mind you not all the stones are moonstone, just a few) If it was Citrine.. it would more pale yellow to slightly an golden yellow.. (if found in nature) If the Citrine stone/crystals is an Orangish Yellow or even a burnt orange.. these have been heat treated..
The last Three image is muscovite Mixed with Feldspar and Quartz. In many cases.. the Quartz closely resembles that of the Herkimer Diamond because the quartz can be so clear and because the Moscovite is typically red/pink, the quartz picks up or reflects this color also.
Pardon my typos.. I was half asleep last night when I replied and we are planing a trip in the next few days so the excitement is building.. to where?.. "Go West Young Man & Woman"
Hi all, didn't realize moonstone came in a golden color! Will have to look into it. I'm not sure about the muscovite, quartz, feldspar. I appears this is much to hard, at least a 8 on scale. No muscovite for sure, lots of it around here and know what it looks like. Feldspar possibly except for harness.
thanks sw that was quite a bit of help. Although I will point out that these were dug on my land, not purchased. Also, I do have some yellow/dark yellow ones, just didn't post them, will do so.
