My great great Grandfather, Joesph C. McCoy, fought there on the Union side. He told my Grandmother (his daughter, my mom's mom, born in 1898) that Antietam Creek actually turned red that day - my grandmother told my mother and my mother told me so it's true. I have his discharge papers to prove it. :glasses11: MB
