My cousin is working on knocking down an old house. And a worker found this on the ground. Any clue on what era it's from?

I won't have the button until this weekend. I told my cousin not to clean until I see it. I'm hoping to find something on the back to tell me more.

I think its very safe to say......"no",(not C.W)looks like a fairly modern civvy type button to me

I believe it is from 1963 the 100th anniversary of Gettysburg, I have seen one other example years ago. And that was the explanation given to me.

They have similar buttons that are going to be sold this year @ Gettysburg for the 150th Anniversary! starting June 30th!
