Welcome to T-net. Nice looking bullet. Don't know what it is but someone here will tell you. Can you post a pic with something for reference. A penny or something for scale. That always helps when trying to ID something.

I bet on modern day bullet. It has been my experience when you see the small grooves running lengthways inside a groove running around the bullet, it's a modern day muzzleloader bullet. Happy hunting.
