Got out with my buddy Greg today in absolute perfect weather. Man did we certainly log some miles but we ended up getting a couple great permissions. 1st was a 1880s house, all I found there was a wheat, indian, and buffalo and the sweet old lock. The next place was built in 1821 and I just knew we would find large cents there. Minutes in I dug a 1838 largie in decent condition! 5 more Indians, 1946 roosie, a 1902 v nickel, and 3 wheaties plus some other relics such as a thimble, a piece of a pocket watch, and other odds and ends finished out the 2nd place. The last place somebody driving by stopped and said "hey come to my house next." (That never happens!) That one was kind of disappointing but I did find a civil war infantry button there in really good shape. What great fun, thanks for looking and hh!
