I took my 11 year old grandson over to a locale ball park for his first treasure hunting trip. We found two dollars and eighteen cents in clad, nothing old but was not expecting to considering where we were, but seeing the excitement on his face every time we found a coin was priceless. He is already asking for his own detector, I think he is hooked ;D. I'm hoping that I have started him on a hobby that he can get a lifetime of enjoyment from, and maybe he will get outside and hunt instead of sitting in front of a vidio game.
