Clad Hunter's Dream - 100s of Coins Pennies to Half Dollar
The last couple of months, I have been hunting around old houses for silver coins. I have found quite a few silver coins and have already posted them. Hunting around old houses is like pealing an onion. You have to pull off one layer to get to the next layer, then the next. To get to the silver, you have to get rid of a lot of clad. I found a few hundred Memorial and Wheat pennies, but I didn't take the time to count them. I found 8 Jefferson nickles, 70 dimes, and 42 quarters. Most of these ranged from 1 - 3 inches deep. These all came from nine different house sites. All the houses were built between 1840 and 1960. Thanks for looking.
