Cleaned Up Bottle Cap Alley & The Clad Highway 2-17-12

It was a massive clean up of trash and clad over about 3-4 hours of wet and dry sand hunting..Two days later and I'm still feeling the affects of this massive digfest...
Totals $5.91 Clad , Sea Glass and some other bits and pieces

Welcome to t-net! Sounds like you tuned up some digging muscles for sure! Good haul of coins!

Some days I'm digging up a lot more trash than anything else, then I stop and wonder, "why am I doing this?" And I try not to do the math on how much I'm "earning" per hour, lol. I've enjoyed every dig during my first year detecting, even those that left me with sore knee or shoulder, but here's my conclusion re those guys who fill the beach with broken booze bottles, caps, cans, etc. --- they should each be issured a plastic baby bottle for their booze instead of glass bottles or metal cans! For me, the best thing about detecting beaches besides the good finds is the ever-changing scenery and the friendly people having fun. HH Andi
