Hey my t-net family. Here are the close up pictures of my finds from the FTNF from sunday feb 25th.
I have decided that I need to put a halt to the plowing after I looked at that axe bit. Man it would've been a beauty. They spent some man hours polishing it. Although there is some nice patina on the break so it's probably an old break. Thanks for looking!!!!!!!!!! Oh and some of the designs on the pottery is wonderful. I couldn't get a decent close up with my cam. I'll keep trying tho!

Enjoy.

I just wanted to say that I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR. The snow is melting (most places). People are getting out and finding points and posting. Good people finding good points. I just wanted to thank everybody on this forum for making this place and this hobby so enjoyable.
Happy and productive hunting all through 2007!!!!

Thank you.

I wanted to see "Close ups of The Field That Never Fails Finds." Let's see what the field looks like. I've really enjoyed seeing your finds, but I'd like to see the land your finding them in.

Nice artifacts. In your third pic down there is a side notch. We find the same style points here in Vermont. Here they are classified as otter creek spear points and are arcahic time period. Im aways looking for fields where they can be found. Always willing to give up three woodland sites for one arcahic.

Yea I'm pretty sure that our field was inhabited for thousands of years because we find everything from fluted clovis/Agate Basin points which are Paleo up to a few woodland pieces. Most of our finds are Archaic tho.

Thanks for the reply's!!!!!!!
