Our club had a seeded silver coin hunt Sunday and I got a few of the silver coins.

12 club members showed up at the hunt and everyone got some silver.

I dug up 30 dimes.

Looks like you did alright. I have never been to a seeded hunt before. How do they do it. Do they charge you to be in it. Do they have different events. Just wondering.....Matt

I enjoy seeded hunts, not because of what I dig up but because of what I find in the way of friendship. You always meet a lot of nice folks with like interests. And any time two or more detectorists get together for anything there is likely to be some good food nearby! The club buys many of the coins and/or prizes out of entry fees. A lot of prizes are donated also. They usually don't charge a fee for a club hunt but open hunts do have a fee. Also all I have attended had some raffles for some really nice prizes. Monty
