These are refered to as Hot rocks. Many higher priced detectors will respond to them too. The best option for this is usually Minelab's Sov GT or Excal fot the beaches. Regular land detectors can disc them out sometimes with a lose of depth, and sens.

ah hot rocks i have wondered wat they wer so i now know something else and thx for the reply both you2 tar. some of our walkways wer coal,coke train lines so ther is still some ther i wondered and had thought i had read that it was something that md,s didnt like to much but allways been told dont know,,,just ask lol and the guys n gals on here well i asked
