A LARGE AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD ACROSS THE ATLANTIC

Oh you got that right, the whole NE section of florida is gonna be great, BUT. with the red tide in as well, the dead fish stench and the respiratory problems from the tide if you are sensitive to it might give you grief....

good luck everyone.

Im planning on leaving first thing Sunday morning. I will work from high tide at 11AM until low tide at about 5:30. Those waves will throw up a lot of stuff and cut into the dunes. Will try to take pics.

Dale and Cobra may already be there. Any finds?

Well the wind is blowing what feels like about 100 mph and I am a bit sand blasted. Nothing great so far, going back out now, low tide around 5:00.
Got my water wings on. ;)

Well, I have no skin left and feel like a salted pretzel. The wind was high all day. I didn’t make it very far south today. I stayed in the Cocoa Beach area. There was a bit of beach erosion, but not as much as they made it sound like. The first thing I dug was this Spanish cob. I believe it has a copy mintmark ;D. Also lots of change a lighter and a class ring. Not a big day but it was fun being out in the windy salty air.

Nice finds there. In the st auggy area they are doing well with finds also. Further north the finds are really starting to rack up too, but still having to contend with dead fish in some areas, blech. I think we still have a good day or two of this wind which is actually a very good thing for T hunting.

Went to the south end of the Treasure Coast..no significant erosion, but strong wave action. Tomorrow low tide is 6pm, but it's a "high" low tide... a foot above normal. Unfortunately, battery went dead..dam "ground fault interrupter" tripped, discharged the unit.

As Scarlett said.."tomorrow is another day!"

Ya the cob I found is almost mint because it was made in china maybe a year ago. ;D
I might have found who the class ring belongs to. I emailed the school.

Sandblasting indeed! I'm taking a short break, and will head back just before low tide. Vero beach has eroded almost back to the dunes, no real cuts, but it's taken a beating. Bonsteel is the same, but nothing too significant south of there to Douglas Beach. Last night was ridiculous on the ICW, I was taking waves over the bow on the mainland side.....behind a seawall. :D I'll post some pics later also, the surfers are loving it and so am I.
