Can I get the difference between a 9" DD coil and an 11" DD coil.
What I am assuming is either DD coil is good for trashy areas and can pick up close target and separate them.
I also assume the larger with give me a larger target area.
What about depth and pin pointing.
I guess what I am basically asking is a comparison in all catagories.
Will I lose something going with one coil but gain going with the other and visa-versa?
Thanks

Larger coil will give you more depht, and smaller coil will give better separation. It's good to have both so you are ready for trashy sites or can cover more ground on cleaner sites

Just get it you're going to get it anyway trust me. lol I have the 5"8 for trashy parks. I have the stock that I never use anymore and the Nel Hunter 11 inch. I don't know if it went anymore deeper than the stock, but I have found more with the Hunter. So my answer is I don't know. But the trill to find out is unstoppable. I'm buying the XP Deus for that very reason. It don't stop. Keep diggin

Thanks relic nut. LOL Truth. If I really want something I ask my wife if I really need it. I usually get it anyway. I guess I am just seeking support or justification.

If you are still running an F2, don't bother. On such a weak machine, a 2" difference on coil size may give you (best case) an additional 1/2" in depth - period. Instead of wasting money, upgrade your machine. Puttin a big coil on an F2 is like putting racing slicks on a Ford Focus, and expecting it to go faster.
