White's Spectrum XLT
I found this coin while hunting yesterday... my XLT barely made a sound over it... I rubbed it off and first thought it was silver... but the detector didn't say so.. im thinkin it is nickle or some composite... any ideas what this is ? I am thinkin it is from Belgium.... maybe brought home after WW II and used as a necklace only to b lost and found by me..... I did manage a '41 Merc there also.... silver #54...... if the weather holds out.. I might hit #60..........

This is a Belgium trade token from 1927, a French language version.
France and Belgium issued these tokens in the 1920's which circulated as money.
They are now considered coins and are listed in world coin catalogs.
