Here's a reply to a similar coin:
"This is British penny featuring Queen Victoria (1837-1901) and the depiction of Britannia, the symbol of Britain's empire and mastery of the seas. Value depends on amount of wear and this one may be worth about $1 with heavy wear to around $10 with medium wear to maybe $20+ with light wear. There were 9.625 million minted that year. S small date variety may be worth a lot more but you would have to have another similar penny to compare against. You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins or Ebay.com for similar pieces."

Wow, thanks for the quick replies. I didn't think it had any real value because of the extreme wear, but I just wanted to know what country it came from. Thanks for your help. :notworthy:
