I recently obtained a 6000 di Pro SL locally in excellent condition and love it!!(even had the original manual) It is great on coins and it's deep. Ive found clad dimes up to 7" with a strong signal and a couple of qtrs a little deeper. Haven't run across any silver with it...(that I know of) but after 20yrs they are still awesome machines.

Yes I found allot of good targets with the 6000/D series 2

Of course after switching to the Sovereign there was no comparison
but it is a good starter detector to learn on.

one of the nice things about them, because they do not have the extra power & sensitivity,
you can hunt close to fences & even under Metal bleachers with them. Yes there are times like that, I wish I had mine yet.

I still swear the 1812 Large Cent I detected with mine was an Easy 10" or more.
It was a whisper & the deeper I got the more I wondered if I imagined there was a whisper there . but eventually I popped it out.

& it really wasn't bad in the PA Coal fields
