Coins and Such!!

FINALLY got a chance to hunt on my day off! Was going to make two days of it, but it rained today. Oh well, one day is better than none!! Went to a local park I hadn't hit, but looks as if someone else had!! No silver, which I thought for sure I'd find. Anywho....found some clad and a "whatsit." Any guesses? I thought it kinda looks like part of a gun? No markings on it. Looks like it may be that "white" metal, or I believe referred to as "pot metal?" HH!!!!

The unknown looks like part of a cap pistol. The hammer is on the top and the firing mechinism is inside.

I think that your 'whatsit' might be a part of a coin slot from a vending machine.

I'm not sure of that, just an avenue to explore.
