cold hunters can't be chosers!!!

so up and out yesterday, and a inch or so of snow... but with the hard ground i was forced to work the sandy banks along the river.. lots o junk but still made some finds none the less...clad, marbles, endstamps, bottle stop, and a newer pin from 1984. but i also found a nice fishing pole washed up.. a south bend 5' spinning rod... but at this lean hunting time of year i will take what i can find... best of digs to all MR TUFF

not bad. At least you can get out and get some stuff. I'm waiting for this snow to melt we got 2 feet. That piece of bottle is from a Caldwell's Syrup Pepsin bottle. 1890's or so. I've dug some and that's the only way I know.

Another pole is always appreciated. Sometimes my buddies wife ways we MDers are like Sanford and Son junk collectors.

Tuff finds.

Tuff digs are better than no digs (in my case) as frozen ground is tuff going.
