This man just finished getting his degree from law school. His parents had divorced and his father had moved up into the mountains,and was living like a hermit.He was accepted by one of the local large lawfirms as a partner. His mother told him that he needed to go see his father and make up before starting his new job. He found out where he lived and drove up there. Upon arriving, his father greeted him and welcomed him into his humble cabin. Surprised at his visit,his father told him that he would prepare lunch before showing him around his property, When he brought out his lunch,the son exclaimed that the plate looked dirty. As clean as cold water can get em son. After lunch they walked around the borders of his property through the woods. He was enjoying this visit and spending time with his father. He had thought just the opposite would happen since he hadn't seen or talked with him since the divorce a few years ago. After a long walk around the property, they arrived back at the cabin. It wasgetting later on in the evening and the son said he should be getting off the mountain and checking into a hotel before dark. The old man siad he would like to prepare dinner for them before he left, since he didn't know when he might return. The son accepted and the old man prepared dinner and brought it to him. Again the son said that the plates didn't look clean. The father said they were as clean as cold water could get them. After they ate the son was preparing to go and they said their farewells to each other. The old mans hound dog was lying in front of the door blocking his sons exit. The old man yelled"cold water,get up and out from in front of the door." Actually,this is a true story.rockhound
